Automated EDM & Precision Components has become a trusted source of services and components to the manufacturing industry. Automated's success is rooted in it's core competency of Wire Electrical Discharge Machining or Wire EDM. For the last 10 years this has been the foundation used for the development of our other competencies such as Die Sinking EDM, EDM Drilling, Precision Waterjet Cutting, CNC Machining, as well as Conventional Machining and Support Services.
Automated utilizes the latest engineering and manufacturing technologies and techniques at our facility. We utilize Autodesk products through the design process and several different CAM systems. After consultation with you and considering your specific project requirements we will work directly from your CAD database or drawings Once the data is entered and verified we will program and machine directly from our electronic CAD data for efficiency and accuracy. All electronic files are backed up daily and stored for future reference. We utilize standard inspection techniques and CMM technology for the verification of component accuracy and our quality procedures are modeled after ISO standards. All of this technology is for not without extremely qualified technical individuals. We at Automated are very proud of the staff that we have assembled over the years. We employ some of the most knowledgeable experts in their fields including Tool Designers, Programmers, Toolmakers, EDM technicians, CNC machinists, and specialized support staff.
